Someone is getting excited...

This little boy is getting excited! He was so cute during this photo session! Luckily he doesn't mind wearing shirts and such! He is just all smiles!
Bono is really looking forward to dropped food pieces from this little seat!
I finished Eowynn's "Forever Family Day" outfit, complete with little headband!
I opened this little fortune during a trip to D.C. a while back. Who knew that this would soon be coming true!

Our Journey is Almost Complete...

Just one more week to complete Eowynn's adoption puzzle.
We are so very grateful for the love, prayers, and overall support for our journey to our daughter. Dane finished Eowynn's bathroom yesterday. Here are some pictures, cherry blossoms and elephants...
It won't be long now until our baby girl is home with us. Today, Dane got her stroller ready to go!
Tomorrow, we will get her car seats ready in our cars, thanks to our local fire station. We also booked our airfare today, and hope to receive our final trip itinerary soon from our adoption agency. The countdown is on! We cannot wait to hold little Eowynn in our arms!

Article 5 Pick-Up Today!

We received an email confirming that our next step of paperwork was approved today! We have Article 5 Pick up!
Now we wait for our final step of the paper chase: China Center for Children's Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA)will issue us TA (Travel Approval)!!!! Once we receive TA, we will be leaving to meet Eowynn within 7-20 days (at the earliest)! Oh my goodness! Yesterday, I went and had my shots for China. Moreover, my doctor gave me prescriptions to take with me in case I get sick or other. I have been working on final preparations for travel and bringing her home: washing and folding clothes, buying and organizing diapers, bath items, wipes, lotions, bottles, sippy cup (not sure what she is currently drinking out of), disposable bibs for trip, disposable mats for diaper changing station (and vinyl tablecloth for same use), snacks (yogurt bites), pacifiers (for comfort if needed, not sure if she is using one), mattress pads and crib sheets ready, etc. We just ordered our stroller and two car seats for our vehicles. Moreover, we are finalizing our luggage to carry-on and hoping to have just one checked bag. Crazy, Busy, It's all Good! Just can't wait to bring Eowynn home!

Halfway There!

Well, we are halfway through the month of December and halfway through our Adoption Puzzle Fundraiser!  126 is the halfway point for the puzzle and we are at 128 pieces now, working towards completing her 252 piece puzzle (see right side bar on blog for more details)!
We are so very thankful to everyone who has already donated a puzzle piece to help bring our sweet Eowynn home! There are still pieces left to be added to complete her puzzle. If you can't help us financially, please support us with your prayers. Thanks for your support and fulfillment in our journey to bring little Eowynn, our missing piece, home!    So, I would like to share with you the moment that we fell in love with our soon-to-be little girl.  It won't be long now until we have her in our arms!  We are so thankful for her orphanage and Nannies, as it is a comfort to us that she seems to be in good care.

The Love and Support for Eowynn is Growing!

Earlier in the week...
As of today...
This puzzle is well on its way to being completely built, thanks to the generosity of donations towards our adoption fund. Once we reach 100 pieces completed, I will post a video of little Eowynn. Wait until you see how precious she is in her Orphanage!
Moreover, this past Friday, my coworkers threw me a baby shower! How sweet! My friend, Amy, baked the delicious strawberry sheet cake! YUM! Other friends brought in food items. The elephants were decorated by my students-so cute! Eowynn received some amazing toys, clothes, books, gift cards, hair bows, scrapbook goodies, and more! How thankful I am for such an amazing work family! They did so much and more to help us welcome the new addition to our family.
Dane and I were busy this weekend working on all of our VISA paperwork in preparation to send to a courier in D.C. This paperwork must be processed there, which should take between 5-7 days to receive it back. We are also waiting on our Article 5 Drop off. Then we will wait for Article 5 Pick Up. It is after the pick up that we can then expect our official TA (Travel Approval). It is moving oh so fast now! China will be calling our name at some point in January!

Our December Adoption Puzzle Fundraiser

When people donate to our Adoption Fund, we will write your name on the back of a puzzle piece. As donations come in, the Adoption Puzzle will be assembled. I will be updating our blog with the progress of the puzzle as it is formed. The completed puzzle will be framed and displayed in our home. What a wonderful keepsake for our daughter to see all of the people who were part of bringing her home. If you are willing and able to make a donation to our adoption fund, we will appreciate it more than you will ever know. More information can be found in the right side bar of our blog. If you can't help us financially, please support us with your prayers. Thanks for your support and fulfillment in our journey to bring little Eowynn, our missing piece, home!
