Scrapbooking Saturday
This past Saturday, I attended my second annual all-day scrapbooking event at a local high school. It was two years ago at this same event that I met the girl who introduced me to the international adoption process. God truly works in mysterious ways. No doubt the two of us were meant to cross each other's paths. I still keep in touch with her to this day. Here is a two-page layout that I completed for our future daughter's scrapbook. Looking forward to the day when I can add pictures! Only then will the album truly be complete! Just waiting to be matched! Could be tomorrow, could be months, could be longer. All in God's timing. He has a plan for us, and we just have to be patient while we wait for His plan to be revealed. In the meantime, we are looking at advocacy sites and pages, where pictures and conditions of orphans are listed and posted. We could possibly find our daughter this way OR wait until our agency matches us. We are getting ready to enter our ninth month into the process. We were originally told 12-18 months total for the process from the time we started. One lady posted on an advocacy page to think of this time as "our paper pregnancy-lasts 9 months." This point of view does help to ease the time in waiting. Cannot wait for the "Match" day! With our Dossier already logged in to China, it won't be long after we are matched that we can go to China and bring our little girl home to her forever family!

Playroom Possibilities!
So, we have been working on our daughter's playroom. There are different areas that we want to create for her and way too many possibilities on how to arrange the room! Here are two of the many different ideas we have had for the playroom:
I think that we have finally decided on the best way to arrange it! We shall see! Painting is in the works for this week (yes, choosing from the endless choices for paint colors is another story!) Once the paint is on the walls, then it will be easier to fit everything where we want it! We are planning a mural for one of the walls-can't wait to see the finished room! Here are a few other items that will be in it.
