Ladybug Luck

Yesterday, I found this little ladybug on our back sliding door.

Dane and I ordered Chinese for dinner and this was my Chinese word:

Couldn't be more appropriate! We also received our official letter in the mail regarding the completion of our Home Study:

We are in the process of gathering our pictures for our Dossier, which will "showcase" our family. It is all part of our paperwork to complete our Adoption with China.

Documents are on the way to USCIS!

We received notification in the mail today that our I800-A form and supporting documents are on the way to USCIS! Now we will wait for Immigration approval which takes approximately 45-70 days. Once approved, we will receive our 797-C document in the mail. Looking toward the end of summer for this to take place! In the meantime, we are working on our Dossier-the paper chase continues!

Planting Seeds...

Planted these seeds today! Thinking of our future baby girl! Can't wait for her to help me plant flowers! We are currently still waiting on our Home Study approval. In the meantime, we are working on all of our paperwork for our Dossier. We hope to get that submitted by the end of summer!

Brighter Days ahead!

Last weekend, we ventured out to a new store and found the perfect little lighting fixture for our baby girl's nursery. It is elegant, yet not too over-the-top. We just need to get the bulbs and eventually hang it, but not until the room is painted. We are still on the hunt for a baby pink round rug for the nursery. I have some potential ones online that could work. Time will tell, I guess! Still waiting on our Home Study approval-hope to hear something soon! That's all for now!
